By Christina Shannon

First thing that you need to realize when writing articles is that you do not have to be a professional writer, nor do you have to be anywhere near the skill level of a pro, but it will help. The main goal is to get the attention of your audience and relate to them with some good information.

For instance you do not want to style of writing to be hard to read. Meaning you will not want to get super technical, in which the reader will have to refer to a dictionary throughout the article to understand what it is you are trying to say.

The best way to do this is to give them something that they need. How too articles are always well appreciated and can be a safe bet if you know what you are talking about as everyone has a question they need answered and this is one of the best ways that you can get through to someone in your particular niche.

Some tips to get the traffic to your articles and repeating that traffic is to write catchy titles. Do some on site search engine optimization to the body of the article along with the title. Do not be afraid to bold your keywords either, just try not to get out of hand with the bolding of keywords in your article.

Another tip is to make the article reader friendly. This can easily be accomplished by using short paragraphs instead of long ones. It is a good practice to keep paragraphs 2-3 sentences long, and make sure the sentence is not one that runs on.

If you impress someone with your article, they will more than likely want to read more articles from you, especially if you take a specialty in a specific niche. If you get dedicated readers to your articles then you get dedicated visitors to your website.

Another way to grab a hold of your readers is to use the word you a lot. This tactic has been known to give the reader an increased feeling of importance when they are reading your article.

Once you have a good article all you really have to do after that is make a good resource box. This can be done by talking in third person and anchoring a couple of links back to your website with your mani keywords.

You can get a great amount of traffic from article marketing. The one thing that you have to remember is the more you submit to different directories, the more traffic you will get. And if you are anchoring keywords the right way the more money and sales you will make.
