I have been creating a network of Wordpress blogs for over a year now, and I really enjoy making money on each one. Each of my Wordpress blogs center around a particular niche or theme. I create one blog per niche, and I buy the domain with a relevant keyword. I work my way from general keywords to more specific keywords, and write posts for each one. I focus on one keyword per post, and I write all of my posts by hand. Google and the other search engines tend to rank original unique content much higher than with spun articles. Readers also want to read articles that make sense, and they are more willing to purchase the products after reading a relevant article. To create an organizational type of system, I create mindmaps illustrating my blogs as individual trees (Wordpress blogs) with branches (categories), and leaves (keywords).
I also create a twin tree (marketing methods). The branches become Web 2.0 properties, social bookmarks, and RSS feeds. I then create lots of articles, rewrite them several times and post them to the top article directories. I link them back to my original Wordpress blog, and on to my Web 2.0 properties. You want to create a systematic process to automate your tasks.
When I started as an internet marketer, I would hand code my websites. This process was tedious, and took a long time. I was often only able to throw up a site after months of work, and updating it with fresh content on a regular basis became a chore. It was only when Wordpress blogs became popular that I jumped on the bandwagon, and really embraced internet marketing. Search engines love blogs, and social bookmarking and article marketing makes backlinking easy and fast.
I love blogging because you can be as creative as you want to be. You choose the theme, the format, the content, and the plugins. Everything is simple, and updates are fast. You will want to create a blog with your own content, point of view, and unique style.
The beauty of the blog is that you are not alone, and there are others who will relate to your thinking. Blog about your hobbies, your life, your lessons, and consider using your blog as a marketing tool. Recommend, be humorous, and make a blog your own.
