The following are 10 simple yet very powerful ways to increase your sales significantly:

1. When you make your first sale, follow-up with the customer. You could follow-up with a "thank you" email and include an advertisement for other products you sell. Follow up with them once a week and see how they are enjoying the product. The goal is to begin building a relationship with your customers so you need to keep in constant contact with them.

2. You could upsell to your customers. After they click the link to make the purchase, tell them about a few extra related products you have for sale. Then add a button so they can add the new products to there order if they are interested.

3. Have a referral sale and tell everyone that if they can refer 5 other people to your product, then you will give them a complete refund of there purchase price. This can turn your 1 product sale in to 3, 4 or even more sales, with no effort on your part. Because most of your customers will only refer a couple of people you won't have to give away to many refunds.

4. When you sell a product, give your customers the option of joining an affiliate program so they can make commissions selling your product. Doing this will help build a sales team to sell your products.

5. Add an option for your customer to buy the resale rights to this product. You could include an ad on or with the product for other products you sell. This will boost new sales from the same customer by giving them this option.

6. You could cross promote your product with other businesses' products in a package deal. Build a fly in add for the special package that you can place on every page, for every product you sell.

7. If you ship your product, be sure to include a coupon or one time offer in the package for other products you promote. This will help to stimulate additional purchases from the same customer.

8. Create a catalog of other products you promote so you can send it to your current customers that have already purchased from you. Include in your catalog all items that you sell and include an upgrade to the product the customer has already purchased. If they liked the first product they will buy from you again.

9. Offer gift certificates for your site. Your income will increase when people buy the gift certificate or gift card. Then when and if the recipient cashes it in, they could also buy other items from your web site.

10. Send your customers free products with their product package. These gifts should have your website url imprinted somewhere on the product. You can have baseball caps made up that has your website printed on the front. This works great because people advertise your products or website like a walking billboard.

That should do it. The great thing about these powerful strategies is that you can implement them immediately. These are very simple steps and setting them up should be easy as well and the outcome of using these tips can make you a lot more money. Make sure to make your customer comfortable with you, this will be the main key to getting them to come back and purchasing more products.
